"The painting entitled 'By The Light Of The Moon' shows a cool moonlit night with a crisp clear view of the snow covered valley below. Father Christmas has just passed in front of the moon and has made a sharp turn towards his first delivery. His reindeer are happily pulling the fully laden sleighs with Santa at the helm. The snowman with his wife and child are perched on the snowy mountainside, waiting with anticipation for a glimpse of the annual aerial display which heralds the start of Christmas Day. Santa gives an enthusiastic wave as the snowman places his arm around his wife."

"The Giant Snowball is a painting which depicts a snowy village scene with the cool pale moonlight dominating  the night sky. The lights are turned on in the house and church allowing a warm against cool contrast. The children in the midground are happy and somewhat content to build their snowman but little do they realise that the biggest snowball ‘ever’ is coming their way. in the end it’s all about the competition. The dog looks on, perplexed as to what all the fuss is about."

Boat, Hand Signed and Numbered Limited Edition Giclee Print by E. Anthony Orme

" These small colourful rowing boats are in constant use in many continental parts. This particular boat was moored at a Spanish quayside and was surrounded by dozens of other similar boats. The exercise here though was to isolate one particular boat, so concentrating on a more detailed painting. Again the square format was essential to the balance of this piece. I loved the way the oars were left on the boat as this created a more artistic feel to the painting. The design of this painting is enhanced by the fact that the oars start at the top right hand corner, continuing through the direction in which the boat is pointing and out of the bottom left corner, via the mooring rope. I could not have accomplished this ‘balance’ with a more rectangular painting. The deep teal colour of the water allows the little boat which its red stripes to creep forward towards the viewer. "
