Bury Town Centre - Hand Signed Fine Art Print by E. Anthony Orme
‘Bury Town Centre’ & ‘Bury Parish Church’
There are a few things happening in these paintings, which I hope will be of interest to the viewer. Bury Parish Church has been much loved and cherished over the generations and stands proud as it overlooks the memorial statue of Sir Robert Peel and in the background the ‘Two Tubs’ public house. This is an iconic pub as it is said to be the oldest in Bury. I’ve enjoyed a pint or two in there myself over the years. Sir Robert Peel appears to police the whole scene as he gazes towards The Rock. Again, I hope that the people milling around bring life in to the painting.

Bury Collection - Having spent the last 50 years living in and around the Bury area, I have, like many other people, seen vast changes in the landscape of this lovely town. It has been my greatest pleasure over the years to study, paint and sketch the people, monuments and important buildings of Bury town.
