" On the Platform " is very atmospheric with steam surrounding the engine. The red figure draws the eye past the victorian railings and iron work to the platform where people are busily boarding the train. This painting has been reproduced as signed giclee prints and is printed on paper or canvas and is available to buy now. " Repairs in the Shed " has the figure in red repairing the train which is brought forward in the composition by the contrast with light and shade from the arch in the shed roof. The standing giant almost has a human personality as it awaits to get back to work.
