  1. Evening In Venice
    £234.00

Evening In Venice, Giclee Limited Edition Print by E. Anthony Orme

    Edition size: 850

    Print Size: 54.5cm W x 42cm H

“ Evening In Venice ” shows a couple on The Grand Canal who have perhaps just rendezvoused after a day in the office. The warm evening light lures us in to this unfolding story. The gondolas are put to bed for the evening and apart from our couple in the foreground, the whole scene is void of people. I like to think that the various points mentioned above help to bring about a settled and peaceful ambience to this painting. This painting can be paired up with painting titled " Venetian Stroll "

  2. Paris 1
    £234.00

Paris 1, Hand Signed and Numbered Limited Edition Giclee Print by E. Anthony Orme

    Edition size: 850

    Print Size: 40cm W x 52.5cm H

“ Paris 1” This scene is so typical of any boulevard in Paris, with the addition of the iconic Eiffel Tower in the background. The turmeric colour(S?) of the awnings and signs are again influencing the general feel of the painting. Also as a final statement, I decided to place the young lady in the foreground with the same Turmeric colour dress. She is walking towards the viewer - a rendezvous perhaps? Please note: "Paris 1" can be paired up with "Paris 2".

  3. Golden Fields
    £234.00

Golden Fields, Hand Signed and Numbered Limited Edition Giclee Print by E. Anthony Orme

    Edition size: 850

    Print Size: 42cm W x 42cm H

" I painted this scene whilst I was working in Provencal. It was a bright sunny morning and the shifting light was an important factor in the way in which I painted this piece. To finish this painting in one sitting, I decided to employ a more impressionistic approach. The square format allowed me to balance the various component parts of the landscape, i.e. the fields are twice as big as the sky with the farm buildings pinning the skyline in place, so giving more room for work in the foreground. The tree sweeps up from the left hand base line and continues up through the background, through the sky and out of the painting itself. The title ‘Golden Fields’ explains the lovely warm yellow ochre & red fields which attacked my senses on that beautiful day. I hope that by gazing into my painting you will feel some of the pleasure which I experienced at that time."
